The 2017 Austin Tri Camp Schedule...we have a lot of work to do!


Thursday

Athlete arrivals: (via airport (AUS) -Marriott Courtyard North Austin)
12:00pm - 5:00pm:     Gear assignment and bike fit/set up for those arriving before 3:30pm
5:30pm - 7:30pm:       Welcome Dinner/Camp Overview
                  Immediately followed by volunteer meeting/overview (Patrick) - Coaches Meeting (Derick)

Friday

6:45am - 7:45am:        Gear assignment and bike fit for late arrivals
7:45am - 9:15am:        Leadership session #1 (Dressed ready to ride.)
9:15am - 9:30am:        Transport to Lake Pflugerville
9:30am - 11:30am:       Bike Skills Clinic (Lake Pflugerville East Field)
11:30am - 11:45am:     Change into swim gear, quick snack
11:45am - 1:15pm:       Swim Clinic (LP)
1:15pm - 2:30pm:        Lunch (Delivered, LP Pavilion)
2:30pm - 3:45pm:        Training and Nutrition discussion/lecture
3:45pm - 4:00pm:        Change into run clothes
4:00pm - 5:00pm:        Running skills and short run (LP)
5:00pm - 5:45pm:        Transport to Hotel/shower
5:45pm - 6:15pm:        Transport to Dinner
6:15pm - 8:00pm:        Dinner
8:00pm - 8:30pm:        Transport to Hotel

Saturday

7:00am-10:00am:         Leadership sessions #2 and #3
10:00am - 10:15am:     Quick snack. Helmets, bike shoes on ready to ride.
10:15am - 10:30am:      Transport to Lake
10:30am - 12:30pm:      ~2hr Ride. (Leave from LP Pavilion, ride LP loop. Finish at LP Pavilion)
12:30pm - 1:15pm:       Transition Clinic
1:15pm - 1:45pm:        Short Run
1:45pm - 2:30pm:        Lunch (Delivered, LP)
2:30pm - 3:30pm:        Flexibility and functional strength routine (Lake Pflugerville pavilion) - Mike O'Hara
3:30pm - 4:45pm:        Swim session
4:45pm - 5:30pm:        Transport to Hotel; Shower
5:30pm - 6:00pm:        Transport to Dinner
6:00pm - 8:30pm:        Dinner - Item Exchange (optional)
8:30pm - 9:00pm:        Transport to Hotel

Sunday

7:30am - 8:00am:        Depart Hotel - Transport to LP
8:00am - 8:30am:        Transition Set Up
8:30am - 8:45am:        "Pre-race" meeting
8:50am:                       First Wave off
8:50am - 12:00pm:      Triathlon
12:00pm - 2:00pm:      Lunch/Awards/Race debrief
2:00pm - 3:00pm:        Basic Bike Maintenance/Tire change, etc. - David Barrientos, Tsunami Cycles
3:00pm - 4:00pm:        Bike Packing
4:00pm - 4:15pm:        Transport to Yoga
4:15pm - 5:30pm:        Yoga For Athletes (24-Hour Fitness) - Briana Roehling
5:30pm - 6:30pm:        Shower/Down Time
6:30pm - 6:45pm:        Transport to Dinner
6:45pm - 9:00pm:        Dinner and Pro Round Table/closing remarks

Monday

Camp close and departure (transport athletes to airport)
